JOYMIO is the latest project from Melbourne-based producer Andy Bain, showcasing a unique brand of playful dance music, their music dips into a multitude of genres from pop-tinged house music to nu-disco. The identity system captures this essence while remaining flexible enough to be applied across eight unique singles through a summer-long campaign.

The logo combination of a serif and san-serif typeface represents the signature vibrant hooks and seductive basslines respectively. The glowing type and the VCR-inspired image treatment method complete the identity system, with inspired imagery and illustration added to create every single cover.
Single designs
A key part of each single release was motion graphics designed to be rolled out across social media platforms and Spotify.

The identity for each single contained four unique ‘textures’ designed to be enlarged to the point they only sparked association with the content.
These images were used as a rotating backdrop to the videos, with information announcing the release of the single animated over the top. Different animations for text were used, including adding movement to the logo and the glow effect.
